Malachi
They
call
me
Malchi.
I
am
a
2001
model
Haflinger
born
in
Ohio
as
an
Amish
horse.
I
learned
to
pull
a
cart
and
a
little
bit
about
riding.
I
was
sold
at
an
auction
to
an
older
gentleman
that
brought
me
to
SC.
He
enjoyed
driving
me
for
a
few
months
then
sold
me
to
Dream
Riders
in
2005.
I
am
the
elder
at
Dream
Riders
and
bring
a
lot
of
wisdom
to
the
program.
Being
that
I
am
the
shortest
in
the
program
I
get
to
carry
the
smaller
riders.
Over
the
years
I
have
shared
my
magic
with
many
different
people,
some
were
afraid
of
me
at
first,
some
didn’t
want
to
get
off,
some
didn’t
want
to
walk
fast,
some
needed
breaks
to
rest
as
they
didn’t
have
the
strength
or
stamina
starting
out
to
ride
a
walk
for
long
periods
of
time.
I
have
witnessed
my
riders
grow
in
strength,
stamina,
self-confidence,
independence
and
graduate
on
to
the
big
horses
when
they
outgrow
me.
It
has
been
a
good
life; I love my job.
The Dream Team
Our
Dream
Team
is
the
core
of
the
program!
We
currently
have

Molly
I
am
an
Ohio
Amish
raised
Percheron
Cross
Mare
born
in
2007.
In
2013
I
was
sold
to
Dream
Riders
from
the
Amish
community
because
I
couldn’t
plow
the
fields
long
enough
or
fast
enough.
I
am
very
good
at
my
job;
I’m
all
business
about
giving
my
riders
a
steady
ride,
trotting
is
my
favorite
thing
to
do.
I
am
told
that
I
am
the
superstar
of
Dream
Riders.
Recently
some
of
the
riders
have
started
competing
and
I
am
the
special
horse
that
gets
to
help
them
achieve
this
dream.
I
find
it
an
honor
to
get
this
opportunity
and
am
such
a
good
girl
on
our
outings.
Independent
riders
are
my
favorite
because
I
can
really
show
off
my
talents.
Dream
Riders
is
so
good
to
me,
I
have
a
treeless
saddle
that
doesn’t
hurt
my
back
and
I
look
forwards
to
my
chiropractic
visits
from
our
special
veterinarian
Dr.
Redmond!
I
am
very
happy
at
Dream
Riders
and
love
having
a
meaningful
purpose
in
life!
Gen Saturday Nite
Special
I
am
better
known
as
Pistol.
I
was
born
December
11,
2001
and
came
to
Dream
Riders
in
August
2023.
I
am
a
seasoned
Registered
Tennessee
Walking
Horse
with
a
rich
past
full
of
quality
training
and
showing.
The
two
years
before
I
joined
the
Dream
Team
I
was
a
lesson
horse
which
prepared
me
for
my
new
job
as
a
therapuetic
riding
horse.
I
am
a
kind
horse
and
love
sharing
my
special
gate
with
my
riders
.
I
know
just
what
they
need
to
help
them
feel
confident
and
successful.
Not
a
bad
job
for
an
older
gentleman.
I
am
giving it my all!
Bella
I
arrived
at
Dream
Riders
in
November
2024.
I
am
a
nurse
mare
foal
born
in
2015.
Thankfully
I
was
rescued
and
given
the
chance
to
live
a
meaningful
life.
For
five
years
I
was
the
mount
for
a
young
girl
to
enjoy
many
adventures
with.
My
young
girl
grew
into
a
young
woman
and
felt
it
was
unfair
for
me
to
not
get
attention.
That’s
when
I
arrived
at
Dream
Riders.
It
is
a
little
differnt
from
what
I
am
used
to,
but
everyone
is
so
kind
and
patient
giving
me
the
time
I
need
to
adjust.
They
feel
I
am
going
to
be
able
to
do
the
job,
I
am
trying
hard
to
adjust
so
that
I
can
give
some special friends a special ride.
Hershel
I
am
so
excited
to
finally
be
a
part
of
Dream
Riders.
I
am
owned
by
head
instructor
Jennifer.
She
purchased
me
at
the
age
of
7
in
July
2021.
I
am
the
rare
breed
of
a
Marsh
Tacky.
Jennifer
says
I
am
one
special
guy
who
reminded
her
how
to
just
have
fun
with
a
horse
again.
We
have
a
wonderful
relationship
and
a
lot
of
fun
cantering
up
the
hills
at
Dream
Riders.
When
the
program
lost
Honey
and
needed
another
horse
I
stepped
in
as
a
grooming,
leading
horse.
It
was
so
much
fun
interacting
with
the
riders
from
the
ground
I
started
to
feel
confident
in
letting
them
ride
me.
I
became
a
riding
horse
as
the
fall
2024
session
progressed.
I
love
having
a
fan
group
and
feel
so
special
getting
to
be
a
part
of Dream Riders!
