Ducky I arrived at Dream Riders in June of 2024. I was born on April 8, 2019 and am actually a twin. My brother and I were both healthy little colts and developed into cute little geldings. I consider myself a quarter horse pony standing at 13.2 hands tall and am excited to come alongside the veterans of the Dream Team to carry their smaller riders. I have been a grooming and brushing horse for the students while I continue to learn how to ride balanced and steady. I am excited to fill Malchi’s place when he is ready to retire. I know I have some big shoes to fill! Bella I arrived at Dream Riders in November 2024. I am a nurse mare foal born in 2015. Thankfully I was rescued and given the chance to live a meaningful life. For five years I was the mount for a young girl to enjoy many adventures with. My young girl grew into a young woman and felt it was unfair for me to not get attention. That’s when I arrived at Dream Riders. It is a little differnt from what I am used to, but everyone is so kind and patient giving me the time I need to adjust. They feel I am going to be able to do the job, I am trying hard to adjust so that I can give some special friends a special ride. Hershel I am so excited to finally be a part of Dream Riders. I am owned by head instructor Jennifer. She purchased me at the age of 7 in July 2021. I am the rare breed of a Marsh Tacky. Jennifer says I am one special guy who reminded her how to just have fun with a horse again. We have a wonderful relationship and a lot of fun cantering up the hills at Dream Riders. When the program lost Honey and needed another horse I stepped in as a grooming, leading horse. It was so much fun interacting with the riders from the ground I started to feel confident in letting them ride me. I became a riding horse as the fall 2024 session progressed. I love having a fan group and feel so special getting to be a part of Dream Riders!
